Setting the Standard: How Bryant Park Consulting is Transforming Enablement

Bryant Park Consulting Enablement program branding BPC Academy

Bryant Park Consulting (BPC) has set a new standard for successful enablement with their BPC Enablement Program, which was launched in January 2022 by Ryan Finnefrock with the help of the BPC leadership team. The program was designed to capture the extensive knowledge of BPC's team in the NetSuite and Consulting worlds, and to pass it on to others. With 44 new hires, 14 analysts, and three class cohorts later, BPC has shown that their program is effective and successful.

The program is a comprehensive 12-week track designed for analysts and associates. The curriculum is uniquely structured across four pillars that position future consultants for success in the ERP world. These pillars are NetSuite Training, Consulting Training, Project Experience, and Mentorship.

Pillar 1: NetSuite Training

The first pillar of the program is NetSuite Training, which includes over 50+ hours of combined offline and online trainings. The in-person trainings are led by BPC experts to be engaging and interactive. The program participants complete 50+ live authentic BPC trainings ranging from basic skills to NetSuite-specific trainings. This pillar provides participants with a strong foundation of knowledge in the NetSuite platform.

Pillar 2: Consulting Training

The second pillar of the program is Consulting Training, which includes eight specifically designed consulting role plays. The role-plays culminate in a two-week case study in front of BPC's NetSuite Practice Director and an Engagement Manager. The best way to learn is by practicing in a live environment, and this pillar provides employees with the opportunity to do so.

Pillar 3: Project Experience

The third pillar of the program is Project Experience, which provides new employees with the opportunity to shadow one of BPC's current clients and BPC experts each week of the program. The exposure to different clients and project types, allows employees the chance to them to gain experience and develop their skills.

Pillar 4: Mentorship

The fourth pillar of the program is Mentorship, which provides participants with the opportunity to meet with BPC mentors on a bi-weekly basis. These meetings allow participants to discuss trainings, role plays, case studies, and current clients. The mentorship pillar is an essential part of the program, as it provides participants with ongoing support and guidance throughout their time at BPC.

The BPC Enablement Program is unique in its ongoing, consistent, systematic, and collaborative approach. Participants are given the tools and support they need to succeed in the ERP world, and the program has shown remarkable success. All participants completed the three major certifications (Foundations, Admin, and ERP) within the Enablement Program, with 88% completing the certifications within 12 weeks of starting. Additionally, 46 NetSuite certifications were obtained, along with 17 other certifications (Multibook, ARM, Celigo, Cloud Developer, Salesforce, Workato, etc.)

BPC’s Enablement Program has shown impressive retention rates, with 100% of analysts retained and a 50% increase in utilization ramp-up. This program is an excellent example of the importance of strategic enablement initiatives to meet the changing needs of the ERP world we live in.
